if you dont have alter egos, then you'd have to make due with some way to guarantee the orbs to shift using one of the older versions of shift (2 life orb ones). then round 2 you shift again and drive and you are golden. that way you can shift bis round 1, debuff, taunt and then breaker will refill orbs for you with taps. you'd be better off running something like an ffxi alter ego + taunt of same element + 2 debuffs of the same element. you'd have no way to guarantee the orbs round 1, and round 2 is too late. it is a very niche card, not one you'd want in a generic tank deck.Īnd replacing amaterasu with grape gospel is going to be useless for you if you dont have truescale prismatic starter x3 panel. i would only slot amaterasu if the boss applies multiple debuffs to the group as a strange mechanic - there was 1 instance when this was a thing, but after that i have not seen it be useful since. tanks arent dealing damage, but the +3 prismatic starter is amazing for a round 1 shift and dump strategy.Īmaterasu IS a good card for removing debuffs from the group, but most healers nowadays should have at least 1 esuna/holy cleansing in their decks. on a healer it is, but i'd be using Prism staff on a healer for the extra xp and seeds, not umbrella :P truescale is not for the panels to add value apart from the starter. why do you need reunion, attuned chain or life draw? prism staff i'd only be using if you had some way to ensure the starters for the shift and debuff dump without the weapon, but on scholar that isnt really possible. assuming you dump all your debuffs round 1, including taunt. umbrella is better in general, but it depends on what you are actually building.
